The structure of MVIWAARUSHA comprises four principal organs including the General Assembly, Leadership Committee (Board), Executive Committee and the Coordination Office. In between the coordination office and the executive committee are four functional committees notably Training and Communication, Planning and Finance, Lobbying and Advocacy and Youth. The General Assembly is a pinnacle of authority and it is right handed by the leadership committee responsible for strategic governance including formulation of policies and strategies and ensuring their implementation. The day-to-day implementation of network activities is shouldered by the coordination office.
